A couple’s thoughtful approach to their wedding registry

Meet Jon and Britta

We first connected with Britta at our A Guide to an Intentional Wedding Registry event and it’s been a joy to get to know her since.

Both originally from Minnesota, Jon and Britta have returned to their roots and are building a home together now here with their upcoming wedding in October. The couple has put incredible thought into how their wedding is a celebration and showcases their interests including sustainability and community-building.

With their wedding registry, Jon and Britta have used it as an opportunity to get to know one another, to explore the city, and to make it easier for their guests to gift with meaning.

Equipped with our initial list of curated shops ideal for wedding registries, Britta ultimately included items from these 4 places:

  • ŪMEI

  • The Foundry Home Goods

  • Mother Co., Plants

  • Vivid Home

Some product highlights from their registry:

What we love about their wedding registry:

  1. Every piece has a story

  2. There are good quality everyday items

  3. There is a mix of product and experience

Having fun with it

With the suggestion from William Benjamin at Vivid Home to add perfumes into their registry, Britta took it one step further in the selection process for Jon’s perfume. She headed to the golf course!

She asked each of Jon’s golf buds their preference from a couple samples and took their vote for which perfume Jon would like the best.

We’re here to help

Not sure where to go locally for your wedding registry? What items you might need? We’re here to help along the way. We’ll start with a questionnaire to best understand your interests and needs and will create a custom list for you. We can also assist by being a shop buddy while visiting stores to pick out items.

We wish you both a wonderful next chapter filled with happiness and the best of memories! ❤️
